According to the Register of Marriages he is a young man from Strijen. So we can assume that during his childhood he lived there. The only event
that shows us a little bit more about Strijen is an heritage in favor of him and his brothers and sisters, according to a deed of conveyance,
dated 12th July 1656 (source RA Strijen). Adriaen represents all the children and grantchildren of Jan Cluijt for the half of the property.
The other half is inherited by the descendants of the Goute-family.
The property is transported to Jan Jansz van Driel.
About the same time there is also the transportation of "een huijs en erve"..."belend ten westen seker erve genaemt de leege plaetse
The heritage was caused by the decease of Pieter Cornelsz. Snel, the brother of Jannetje Cornlisz., Adriaens mother. I assume that the
property was the parential home and, without any doubt, Adriaen visited this place many times
Next time I hope to have gathered more information about this place.
